Yes kids, that's right.. There is a National Photography Festival goin down in Canberra over the next few months.. There is going to be some seriously awesome exhibitions going down.

UPDATE:

Calling all Canberra Photographers that are gear crazy.. The National Museum is hosting Photogear, an small expo of camera equipment for phography pro's and enthusists..

It has been going since Satuday and runs till Tomorrow (MONDAY!) from 9-4:30pm, it was fkin AWESOME.. For you Nikonists there is a 600/4 and a 500/4 set up with d300's for you to shoot out over the lake. There is plenty of other glass that I didn't look at from them too..

Canon; there is a stand curtasy of Sun Studios which has numerous 1d's and 1ds's and 5d's with lenses like the 200/2, 50/1.2, 35/1.4, 85/1.2 the 90mm shift and tilt, 70-200's and all kinds of fun stuff.. plus there was a stand for pentax (and more maybe?) and a whoole lot of printers, hassleblad's (sp?) and photoshop hints and tutorials..

well worth the visit if you can make it tomorrow!

The purpose of this club is to pool Canberra's collective conscious into one lean, mean dA club. Any Canberran, or person who is interested in Canberra, is welcome to join

The deviations you submit don't need to relate to Canberra, we just want to get the wonderful artists of Canberra connected. To make administration of the club as easy as possible, please only submit one piece a day! Any more submissions than this will be dismissed, and repetitive spamming of submissions will lead to termination of membership from the club. You can find out how to submit further below.

Your founders and admin =droolz and *theperfectjez are your connection to the masses. For queries or ideas regarding the club, you can either send a note to the club, or to either of us, and we'll do our best to answer as quickly as possible!

Simply send a note to the club (afterall we wont know if you want to be a member if you don't), watch us, and straight afterwards, add our icon to your journal. As long as this is done, we'll add you as soon as we get your note.

SUBMISSIONS

Please, only submit ONE PIECE OF ART PER DAY.

To submit, send a note with a link to your original deviation to *deviACT only, and inform us of which gallery to upload to. We will upload your image to our gallery, and add a link to your original work in the submission. If, at any time, you wish to remove your work from our gallery, simply send a note saying so.
